This is a modular cylinder holder model meant to allow for multiple attachment methods, as well as the ability to support in the vehicle/dock area as necessary. The model is intended to be printed with TPU in order to allow for better grip of the cylinder to the base while horizontal.
The base can be attached to a support wall vertically with standard 2-inch straps to lock the cylinder while the diver is getting dressed, on a break, etc. This same feature can be used to bolt the base into a vehicle to provide rigid support while traveling. There are bungee chord attachment points coincident with the bolt support features to allow for quick attachment or if the strap method is not preferred.
The bases can be connected utilizing the tie features. When not in use, you can leave the openings or print the blocker pieces and simply fill the voids. The blocker pieces feature a groove for easy removal.
