A tactile 3D-printed model of the Panthéon in Paris. The model measures 93 mm long, 123 mm wide and 93 mm tall.
Stairs lead up to the columned main entrance from every side, where 16 thick, tall columns support the roof structure. Moving back along the exterior walls, basement windows and a characteristic corner break lead to the dome section and the crosswise walls, each with its own entrances reached by small stairs. The rear section of the building descends toward the crypts, with large arched windows above.
The roof is ringed by a balustrade following the line of the walls, rising at the center to a dome on a square platform with grouped windows, topped by a ribbed dome and a columnar lookout with a finial. Like all models in this series, it is designed for tactile exploration with sturdy, touchable details and no braille labels.
