This is a repair for the XP elastic holster.

UPDATE: First time in field the nut plate snapped (so I deleted it and added a new image) super glued the nut onto small washer (big enough to not pull through clip) to hold it in place whilst tightening, if you cannot find suitable washer, drill throug a thin tombec button like I did :D

My XP Pinpointer holster lasted less than 6 months, first the velcro gives in (so you glue, stitch or staple it), next the lugs wear down with all the mud and grit then it spins (no way to tighten), finally the elastic pouch goes saggy and your MI4/MI6 pinpointer keeps falling though.

You will need a 4mm x 20mm button head nut and bolt.

Open the clip and squeeze the lugs with pliers until you can pull it off (don't worry if the lugs snap - you only need the spring clip) I have added a photo of the circular plate with lugs that holds the materal pouch on (you don't need this)

Print as shown - I didn't use supports, if you like you can add them iniside the cutout and a brim, 40% infill

Screw together choosing the holster angle.

My XP MI6 Pinpointer has Shrinktube covering it and a Plasti Dip coated end to protect it from wear.

If you need it tighter then reduce the size 1% / 2%

I added the split to allow it to spring instead of bursting when you ram it home in the exitement of not finding a lead blob.
