V Shape(Dovetail) Connecting Bar

This connnecting bar is besically a middle-ware which allows the objects to slide on it, and it connects to the applied surface(pegboard, wall, draw bottom...etc.) or mounting brackets as well. In my case, I use it to mount with the simple mounting bracket for Square Hole Pegboard.

It's kind of like DIN rail but simpler and more suitable for 3D printing applications. I am providing the dimensions of the V Shape Connecting Bar down here for ones who want to create your own mounting design. Or just let me know if you like to have different sizes.

V Shape Connecting Bar

Current available Length: 76mm, 114mm, 152mm (compatiable with regular square hole pegboard)

Now they are available for IKEA SKÅDIS Pegboard (mounting hole distance 40mm) as part of the solution.

How the connecting bar works

With this V shape connecting bar as middle-ware, the objects can be easily hang on the wall(pegboard), or lay in the draw and organized.

The basic dimensions of the V Shape(Dovetail) connecting bar

Extending & Positioning Bar Hole (oct5x20mm)

An octagonal pin (5x20mm) which is used to extend the connecting bars and make sure they are alined.

Simple Mounting Bracket for Square Hole Pegboard

This simple mounting bracket for Square Hole Pegboard uses two HIN-Heat Insert Nuts to ensure the duability.

Heat Insert Nuts BOM:

M4x5x5.5mm or M4x4x5.5mm for the middle hole (recommended to insert the HIN from back to have best strength)

M3x4x4.2mm for the down hole
