This is a modular multispool meant for Recycling Fabrik filament. It uses about 110g of filament for the smallest iteration. It takes up minimal storage space when disassembled and not in use. I'm pretty sure it's not compatible with AMS, it will not work on anything but a hanging filament holder and I'm not sure how it would work in a dryer, but it will let you print your own refill spool on a printer with at least 80x80x80 mm of print space, or 80x80x86 for the bigger one. (I designed it for my Prusa Mini, but if you are the proud owner of an Easy ThreeD K10, you too can print a full size spool for a kilo of filament.)
You need to print 6 brackets of your choice, 1 inner core and 1 outer core per spool. I use brims on the brackets and supports for the outer core, but PrusaSlicer thinks this is unnecessary. The general recommendation is using PETG for spools. If you don't plan on using this at temperatures where PLA will melt, that should be fine, but ymmv.
You can mess around with the measurements on the brackets and inner core to improve fit for your print settings. The outer core's (outer) measurements are pretty vital to making sure the filament fits well, so I'd leave those alone.
This will not fit the label that comes with your filament. Luckily, humanity has been blessed with scissors, which let you work around many problems created by the dimensions of paper products.
This has no snazzy Recycling Fabrik logo, because I made this directly in the slicer, on a laptop which has dreams where its graphics card should be.
Assembly:
Put down 3 brackets, long side down, hole side up, and fit them over 1 stud each, skipping one inbetween. They should snap in fairly snugly, but, if they refuse, put in the inner core temporarily for the next step.
Put in your filament, turning the zip ties to the outside.
If applicable, remove the inner core. Fit in 3 brackets onto the skipped studs, long side up, hole side into the core. You might have to jiggle the zip ties if they interfere, especially with the wide ones.
Fixate everything with the inner core.
Cut open your zip ties
