Robo Sumo Bot :

What i made:

I designed robo sumo bot chasis with 30 degree inclined front wedge, motor mount , top plate and enough space to fit electronics.

why i made:

As our national robo sumo competition  is going to held on noveber so i made this for that event and to improve my skills in mechanical design.

How i made it :

I started by planning the robot by adding one base of 200x100m where i added all the model of electronics. After that, i just added a new sketch to make the motor mount where i project the back surface of tt motor the i designed the mount. similarly, i make the whole designed of sumo bot with the help of model of electronics.

Assembly guide :

Required materials:
  • 3D-printed main chasis

  • 3D-printed top plate

  • tt motor & wheel

  • wheels

  • l298n motor driver

  • 2s 18650 battery holder

  • jumper wire

  • switch

  • arduino uno

  • long range sharp ir sensor

  • tcrt5000

First and foremost, you have to print the main chasis body and top plate using 3d printer. After this, mount the motors onto the main chasis using screw and install the wheels on to the motor shaft. Moreover, place motor driver, battery holder, arduino uno and other required electronics onto the chasis. connect the motor to the motor driver and battery and all the electronics and upload the code. coding part is yours :),

And just place the top plate over the main chasis and secure it using screws.

Finally, the robot is ready to dominate the opponent bot :_)
