This is a device that clamps onto the front of a flashlight (IR or visible, doesn't matter) to eliminate spill.

This is mostly meant for night vision users to avoid the massive spill of traditional LED/reflector based IR illuminators. This spill can autogate nightvision devices from reflections off of close objects, effectively blinding the user to farther objects that they may be attempting to view. Laser based IR illuminators solve this issue with an inherently clean beam, but these are excessively expensive. Instead you can just clamp one of these bad boys to the front of any normal flashlight.

Examples are a Convoy S6 300k pointed at a wall roughly 6 feet from the camera.

These attach by slipping over the head and clamping with an M4x8 bolt and m4 nut.

Fcsd/STL fil,es are included for:

  • Convoy S2+/S6 style of lights (or any other light with a 24mm bezel diameter)

  • Rovyvon GL4 Pro IR illuminator (or any 25mm bezel light)

The 24mm versions have several different levels of constriction (the angle in the file title). The larger this number is, the more constriction there is to the beam. The degrees in the title do not indicate an actual beam angle, they are the internal angle of the device.

Please feel free to remix for different lights. It should be as simple as changing the appropriate dimensions in the sketch that drives the revolution feature.
