This is a blueprint-style representation of the Bussard Ramjet, created as a tribute to physicist Robert W. Bussard, who designed the original concept.
It is an approximation of the original design plans shown in Carl Sagan's Cosmos, Episode 8: Journeys in Space and Time.
The model is available either as a complete piece or divided into four parts, making it suitable for printing on a 220 × 220 mm 3D printer.
If you want to print it in two colors but do not have a multicolor 3D printer, the model has been designed so that you can manually pause the print and change the filament.
Alternatively, it can be printed in a single color and the raised details can be painted by hand.
