How to make these

The models here are the molds - they go together with m6 bolts and are made using the easy composites forged carbon layup schedule:

https://www.easycomposites.us/learning/compression-molding-forged-carbon-fiber

I usually lay a layer of chop in the molds on both sides, then I have precut unidirectional pieces that run the length of the foil, and some that are shorter that fill the center of the foil since it is thicker. You need to be careful about cutting pieces here - and perhaps testing them in the molds.

Some minor sanding is done when the foil comes out of the molds (if everything went well) and some filling, then a UV protective clearcoat. Drill and re-cut the countersinks and it should bolt right up to a reedin fuse. I'm working on a stabilizer as well but I'm not happy with it yet.

I wouldn't recommend this as your first composites project - laying these up takes some experience

Both foils use an eppler387 foil section, have about a degree of washout at the tips, a slight anhedral and swept wingtips (which supposedly helps with ventilation)

Big foil

This is a quite high aspect foil that I use for very lightwind kiting. I can pop up on this with a 10m foilkite in ~7 knots. It's about 1000cm^2

Use about 600g of carbon, and 450g of epoxy resin (that gives you extra resin to guarantee saturation).

Smaller foil

This is my jumping kitefoil. About 750cm^2. Handles low wind better than I'd expect, but stalls pretty hard. This one I have many hours on and am quite happy with it.

Use about 350g of carbon and 250-275g of resin
