I have redesigned the X carriage and extruder to suit E3D V6.
For a while i have been limited in X axis travel by a combination of X carriage & extruder ( stepper motor) so i have designed this to be as compact as possible. I also wanted to make it so that the extruder/ E3D could be removed easily with a quick release so i can swap between extruders 39/11 geared 3mm & 1.75 mm direct drive.

This is the 3 mm version ( M8 hobbed bolt on 39:11 gear ratio) i plan to adapt/redesign the extruder to a 1.75 mm filament direct drive in the coming weeks ( once this has proven to be OK ...work in progress)

Updates:-
Feb 6th . Added notch in extruder body to help with cable routing.
Extruder body V2 R2.2.stl ( see jpeg image)
Left original V2 R2.stl if you dont need / want this
Feb 12th> added direct drive extruder for 1.75 filament . Based on Mk8 hobbed drive bush
March 6th > minor changes to the extruder body to make for easier post print clean up. Now version V2 R2.5
