This is the Mipclip, a Silly Shell carrying system designed to attach to the non-standard webbing spacing of the SCRD Tactical Belt, as well as options for standard MOLLE spacing. It's heavily based on the original RIPclip, but is intended to remain mounted to your gear and be used as a dispenser for blasters that take loose shells such as the Stagecoach, Breacher, and Wildstyle, rather than the original design's use as a direct loading mechanism for specific blasters. Mipclips offer the ability to carry 6 Silly shells on a single column of webbing, allowing for very dense, high capacity shell storage.

Disclaimer

This project is relatively early on in development, the SCRD belt-mounted clip is on version 3, and the double and triple MOLLE-mounted clips are derived from that design. The only designs that have currently been tested are the 6 shell SCRD belt version and the 6 shell double MOLLE version. The 4-shell versions of those clips and both of the triple loop MOLLE clips have not yet been printed.

Print Instructions

I print my Mipclips in the orientation shown below. I recommend at least 4 walls, 4 top/bottom layers, and 20% gyroid infill. I have only printed these in PLA+ so far, I am unsure how well they would print in other filaments. An outer brim of at least 5mm is essentially mandatory, as are supports. These clips like to warp, which can cause functionality problems, so make sure you have a clean build plate and the right bed temperature for good adhesion.

Hardware

Mipclips require MOLLE tabs to attach them to webbing. I use the "MOLLETabShort" from the Blitz Shorta on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3708831/files).

p.s. the name is both a reference to the fact that it's a RIPclip modified for MOLLE, and to the Mips Clip used in Mario 64 speedrunning.
