This detailed model captures the grandeur of a classic railway station concourse, featuring ticketing areas, shops, and waiting rooms. Inspired by historic grand halls, it brings the bustling atmosphere of travel to your display. Print with supports enabled to ensure clean edges on the intricate architectural details.
Size as supplied: 100.0 x 43.0 x 25.3 mm (L x W x H), about 1:600 scale.
Print settings: PLA, 0.12-0.16 mm layers, 0.4 mm nozzle (0.2-0.25 mm for extra-fine detail), 3 walls, 15% infill, 3-5 mm brim.
Supports: needed for undersides and overhangs. Use tree/organic supports touching the build plate only; enable 'support on build plate only' to keep detail faces clean. Support Z distance 0.2 mm and interface layers make removal easy.
Pre-oriented: the 3MF is already placed upright on the build plate (z = 0) - print it as supplied, no rotation needed.
Rescale table (always scale uniformly):
- As supplied: about 1:600 (real object about 60.0 m on its longest side).
- HO 1:87: scale uniformly to 690% (longest side 690 mm).
- OO 1:76.2: scale uniformly to 787% (longest side 787 mm).
- N 1:160: scale uniformly to 375% (longest side 375 mm).
- TT 1:120: scale uniformly to 500% (longest side 500 mm).
- O 1:48: scale uniformly to 1250% (longest side 1250 mm).
Included files: the 3MF model, a print guide PDF (settings, supports, bed placement, colours, painting, reference views), a dimensions and scaling sheet, orientation and support tips, a real-world inspiration note and a README.
Images: all pictures are digital renders of the 3D model, not photos of a printed copy.
