The original model is a disappointment because it has a thin base that gets punctured easily by the tip of the walking stick.
This improved tip for SUMMIT brand walking sticks retains the same design but offers improved durability by making it more resistant to piercing.
I redesigned this part with Claude, but I printed it and tested it, and it works perfectly.
I only have Prusament 95A TPU, so the color is quite different from the original, but I think it would look great with black or red TPU.
Print settings
There are certainly other settings that work, but my printing recommendation is as follows:
TPU 95A
0.20 mm layer height
STRUCTURAL profil
20% infill density
Gyroid infill pattern
Don't modify speed. TPU like slow printing speed.
With these parameters, the print time on a Core One + is about 35 mn.
OpenSCAD file is provided in case you need to adapt this model to your walking sticks.
