Recommended Print Settings
Crucial Step — Mirroring: Mirror the model horizontally in your slicer before slicing (or flip on the Y-axis). This ensures the smooth, bed-textured side faces forward once ironed onto your shirt.
Layer Height:
0.2 mm(1 layer) or0.4 mm(2 layers).Infill: 100% Solid / Top/Bottom Patterns set to Rectilinear.
Build Plate: Smooth PEI or glass for a glossy, uniform finish post-transfer.
Filament Selection:
PETG (Recommended): High temperature resistance, durable in washing machines, excellent fabric grip.
TPU / Flex: Maximum elasticity for stretchy garments.
PLA: Works for decorative shirts or cold-wash items.
Iron-On Transfer Guide
Iron Setup: Set household iron to 160°C – 180°C (320°F – 356°F) / Cotton/Wool setting. Turn STEAM OFF completely.
Work Surface: Lay the garment on a firm, hard surface (a wooden cutting board or sturdy table works better than a padded ironing board).
Cover with Parchment: Place the printed decal on the shirt with the textured bed-side facing UP. Place a sheet of baking/parchment paper directly over the print. (Never let the bare iron touch the plastic!)
Press (Front): Press down firmly with body weight for 20–30 seconds. Keep the iron stationary—do not slide it back and forth to avoid smearing detail.
Press (Back): Turn the shirt inside-out and iron the backside of the fabric behind the print for another 20 seconds to melt the plastic directly into the textile fibers.
Cool & Peel: Allow the print and parchment paper to cool completely to room temperature before peeling the paper away.
