Cushioned pen mount that screws to the side of the head casing of a Neptune 4 printer with its standard screw for plotting. No extra hardware required.
Assembling and mounting the contraption is rather simple:
Once you print all the parts, first you have to insert both springs into the sides from the top of the frame peace and hook them up to the pegs at the bottom (pliers or a small screw driver will help with that), then insert the core peace into the frame from the top as well and hook the springs to the top pegs on it. Finally you screw the plastic screw into the hole on the front (the tolerances are quite tight so it will take some force and a flat screw driver the first time) and mount the whole thing to the right of your Neptune 4 extruder head.
Depending on the precision of your printer, you might want to shim the core peace with some paper so it doesn't have any wiggle.
It can be left attached to the printer all the time as it does not restrict the airflow of the right fan at all.
I have provided the .STEP files for it too. They could be used to adapt it to another printer with relative ease.
