It's a set of parts to make a frame that properly clics into the anafi, even with the push-on release.

DISCLAIMERS :

  • I am by no means responsible for any damages to the drone, the battery, any people, building, piece of equipment, or any of the like.

  • YOU DO THIS PROJECT ASSUMING WHOLE RESPONSABILITY, I CAN'T BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANYTHING

  • dismantling the original parrot battery (or a copy from GIFI Power) is dangerous, and there is a major fire Hazard. Take your own precaution to ensure that a short circuit is IMPOSSIBLE (with either of the three wires of the battery pack : +/middle/-

  • I urgently advise you to not attempt soldering wires directly to LiPo cells, neither those from the battery, nor an other set bought somewhere else, it's extremely dangerous, you have been warned

I printed all my parts on a prusa mini, with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height...

recommended print orientation : see individual pictures

recomended print settings :

  • material : PLA or PETG, you can use other if you want but I don't have any experience with any other material

  • layers : 0.2mm not too fast, 25% infill at least, 4 perimiters at least

  • except for the hook plate and the lock, the supports are unnecessary

  • for the hook_plate, ensure that all three hooks are properly supported

  • for the lock, only add supports to the thick part, and not the very thin one (use paint-on supports)

  • add a 2-3mm brim if your print struggle to stat stuck to the heatedbed during printing

you will need :

  • leftover circuits from a parrot anafy battery

  • little screws that held the power PCB in place to fasten it to it's new support

  • 2 parts epoxy glue to assemble some parts

  • a tiny paper clip to assemble the grip to the main circuit holder, and the battery wall to the hook plate

Notes :

  • every printer has some degree of imprecision, you might need to adjust the clearances to get a good fit. Either modify your copy of the source file in fusion360 or do a little bit of sanding

  • other infos of the project here : parrot pilots
