A common issue with Roborock robot vacuums is false cliff detection on dark carpets and flooring. Because the cliff sensors rely on reflected light, very dark surfaces can appear similar to a drop-off. When this happens, the robot may stop, reverse, or avoid the area entirely. These caps eliminate the issue by covering the cliff sensors, enabling the vacuum to clean dark surfaces normally.
Safety Notice: These caps cover the cliff sensors and prevent them from detecting drop-offs. If your home contains stairs, balconies, landings, or other elevated edges, the robot may drive over them and fall. You need block those areas with "Invisible Wall" on your map, otherwise your vacuum going to fall.
