Pain to build tower case for BC250 with so many heat inserts, you need all of them.

Generally i dont recommend this build, its over-complicated. But i am working on other case with UHP PSU so maybe that will be less pain to build.

Printed on my Voron 2.4 350mm with PETG-CF (yea for main frame you need big printer or just cut it in slicer), some parts needs supports enabled.

Also there are some work with main voltage cables !!! If you are not qualified dont risk it.

BOM:

  • 5x5mm heat inserts - a ton of them

  • Arctic P12 pro PST

  • Arctic P12 slim PST

  • Any 60mm 12V fan for VRAM cooling

  • As coolers for backplate i used 5x AXAGON CLR-M2L10 M.2 ALU Heatsink (for attaching i used thermal conductive tape, the blue tape, but any 10mm M.2 SSD heatsink should work ok)

  • For 8pin molex i used just 4 wires from AKASA 12V ATX 8-Pin to PCIe 6+2 pin Adapter Cable

  • Custom made Micro-Fit 3.0 cables (length of each cable is diffrent based on cable management)

    • 2x Micro-Fit 3.0 8pin connector - MX-43025-0800

    • 12x Micro-Fit 3.0 pins - MX-43030-0007

    • 2m ÖLFLEX® HEAT 125 0.5mm - HEAT125SC-0.5RD/HEAT125SC-0.5BK

  • Main PSU to Wago cabels

    • 50cm ÖLFLEX® HEAT 125 2.5mm - HEAT125SC-2.5BK/HEAT125SC-2.5RD

    • 4x ~1mm thick M3 ring terminals

  • 4x Wago 221-415

  • Vandal proof 16mm switch - V16-10F-B (I also used 2 pin Micro-Fit 3.0 male and female convectors, so that the cable can be disconnected from soldered part of the cable, but you can any other connectors, you also need like 60cm of thin cable to wire this switch)

  • 1x C14 power connector SCHURTER DC11.0021.001

  • 3x f1 terminal female connectors and standard 1mm (10A) cables from any power cable (~20cm is ok)

  • MW UHP-350-12

  • I replaced pads on VRAM with proper contact to backplate (2x1mm pads)

  • I replaced TP with PTM on chip.

  • 6-8mm flat head M3 screw DIN 7991 - you also need one 20mm - these are used only on covers, you dont need them if you want to make only open frame

  • 8-10mm M3 screw DIN 912 (for most holes 10mm is better) and also 3x 20-25mm for cables holder, 15mm for P12 slim fan

For this case you need to customize heatsink.

btw. i am not good in CAD - sorry for abuse
