An original, fully customizable submarine display model built entirely with native TrueGeometry Playground commands - no booleans, no external tools. Every dimension is a variable at the top of the recipe: hull length and 25 station radii, sail size and position, stern fin size, and a NACA 4412 aerofoil propeller (blade count, chord, span, pitch, twist). Change a line, click Run, and the model reshapes.

Honest notes:

- Display model, not yet test-printed. If you print it, please post a Make - it helps everyone.

- Original design, deliberately generic. Not a scale replica of any real vessel; no markings.

- The assembly STL is not one watertight manifold: the hull is 24 open frustum shells with intentional 0.8 mm overlaps and no end caps. Slicers merge overlapping shells - slice the assembly as-is.

- The propeller uses a NACA 4412 aircraft aerofoil section (native /aerofoil fan command) - a display prop, not a marine skew-back design.

- Faint station seams can show at extreme zoom.

- Preset cards in the gallery show the recipe lines to change, not live renders.

Files:

- Submarine_Assembly.stl - the full model (print this one, or split it in your slicer)

- 13 component STLs: bow dome, sail, periscope + head, 2 masts, 4 stern fins, stern boss, propeller, spinner

- hull_stations_H00-H23.zip - the 24 hull station shells

- submarine_v2_recipe.txt - the full Playground recipe (this is the save file)

- Submarine_Playground_Guide.pdf - how to run and customize, with marked screenshots, the variable table and presets

Customize it:

Blog article with the full recipe, technique and presets: https://blog.truegeometry.com/0_0_0_0/blogs/post-656391b7.html

Run it in the TrueGeometry Playground: https://www.truegeometry.com/CoreWebGLTG/KBEAgentHTTP.html

Quick start: open the Playground, click Script, paste the recipe, click Run (not "Clean & Run").

Printing:

PLA, 0.2 mm layers, 15% infill. Print Submarine_Assembly.stl lying flat with supports, or print the component STLs separately and glue. 200 mm long at default variables.
