My job got new self-checkouts recently which have this keypad on the front. It seems like a great idea, until you realize that most customers don't even realize it's there. So they lean on the machine or press it with their bag, and it presses all the buttons at once. Then they act confused when the machine starts acting all strange. The point of this model is to prevent these accidental presses.
This was designed with the modern NCR Voyix self-checkouts in mind, but would probably work on any model using the Storm AudioNav 1400 Series keypad in the horizontal orientation.
Attach to the machine using strong double-sided adhesive.
