bored of boring headphone stands? use this unnerving piece of art. takes about 3 prints on a 250^3cm build plate and a lot of different screws, (M2, M3, M4) to assemble. and you can set its pose and customize it however u'd like. lovely innit?
instructions and stuff:
parts to print and how many,
sectioned stand parts 1&2: 1 each
drivecam: 4
amcamoffsetter: 4
motor attachment: 2
spacer:4
offsetter: 6
leggfgg: 4
top attachment: 8
assembly and stff:
for assembly you are gonna need to print the above listed and you'll need a variety of screws listed down below
24xM3
12xM2
2xM4
you gonna need a variety of lengths so get a set of assorted screws, keep in mind that this is just a posing figure so it wont be able to move and thus is stationary. and if you aren't gonna pose it then I recommend you just super glue everything together.
step1: assembly of the main body
this is just press fit, take the 2 parts of the stand and just shove it in, its gonna be tight so use a mallet, or whatever soft heavy object you got, such as your annoying little brother, though don't blame me if your mom gets mad at you.
step2; da legs and cam and stuff.
first, take one main drive cam and attach legs to it, the ends of the cam to the middle of the leg with the filetted side facing forward, and secure with a M3 screw. now that you have the drivecam with legs attached, take your topcam, with the extruded side of one of the ends to the back of the top hole of the leg and secure with a M3 screw. repeat for all the stuff.
step3' of setter and spacer.
now take 2 of the leg assemblies you made, 3 of the offsetters and 2 spacers. place the offsetter's extruded end to on the drivecam's remaining 3 holes and secure with M2 bolts with the other end of the offsetter to the front of the other drivecam holes and secure also make sure you screw the screws in partially to allow ease of assembly later. now take the top attachments and line them up, you will notice a gap between the two topcams, insert the spacer and screw in your M3 bolt but only partially. repeat for the other thing
step4> the amcamofsetter
take 2 amcams and secure it to the lower spaced out holes on the body and secure with a M3 screw. and take 1 motor attachment and attach it to the center hole with a M4 bolt. then finally take the assembly you made earlier then line it up with the holes. such that the motor thing is inline with the center hole of the drive cam and the top arms inline with the provisioned pegs, and fully screw in all the screws into their respective holes. repeat for both sides
disclaimer: all the screws are force threaded so you are gonna have a hard time posing it after assembly if you use fully threaded bolts. I recommend fully threaded ones when doing a pose once and forget but use a smooth rod one when you want to pose it later but expect it to dive every 5 seconds. this was designed with the most apathy I could conjure so bear with me.
