Background : I really like gears and gear ratios while also developing a sudden ick for fidgets as well so I decided to use my exceptional cad skils to make these fidgets
About The Model : So basically I love gears and the concept of gear ratios so I made multiple gear based fidgets
Fidgets :-
1) Planetary Gear Spinner : A 2016 spinner but this time overengineered with the concept of planetary gears, with sun gear in the middle, planets on the side and the orbit gear on the outside
Assembly Instructions : Slice the printable file, print it. Then put the 36teeth gear on the carrier and put it in the ring gear then align the sun gear in the middle
2) Clicker : A rotating gear with a hammer attachted to base with a spring, when the gear is rotated it hits the hammer and a satisfying sound with a tactile feel is produced
3) The Ring Spinner : Put it in your finger and move it in a circular motion, this makes the helical gears move!
4) The Palm Revolve : Using 2 hearingbone gears I made the revolve fidget toy, Put in your palm and apple pressure onto one gear with ur upper palm, repeat this motion and the gears start to "revolve"
Assembly Instructions : Slice the printable file and print it. Snap the gears on to the shafts and enjoy
Print Recommendations : Print in pla or petg if used outdoors. Use standard 15% infill and a 0.2 mm layer height for best gear results
