I recently, as of September 2026, acquired an EMC2 25 Bay JBOD, however buying used and shipping tend to cause a few issues. One of those issues was a few of my drive caddies were damaged in shipping rendering them useless and broken so I did what Nobody else has dared try, at least based on the countless hours of searching for this specific drive caddy and Modeled my own.
I just need it to work and hold a drive and interposer where the originals did. Nothing more. This caddy features an all static design where you just slip the drive and interposer into the slot and use countersunk screws to screw it in place. I am not skilled enough to add channels to run fiber optic anything so unfortunately the Status LEDs are useless on this model but maybe one day Ill revisit this but for the time being, Its functional and it works.
