Stackable rack for Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny PCs. Every side piece is one tier tall, so you print exactly as many tiers as you have PCs, and you can add more later without reprinting anything.

Inspired by the Dell Optiplex Micro Storage Rack by Athers3d on MakerWorld.

What I changed from the original

- Redrawn from scratch for the Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny (179 x 183 mm) instead of the Dell Optiplex Micro.

- Made it modular: the original has one side piece per stack height (2, 3 or 4 PCs). Here each side piece is one tier, one per PC, so you can build any height and add PCs later.

- Replaced the dovetail cross bars with tenon joints: a block on top of each post drops into a socket in the tier above. No glue or loose parts.

- Side tiers print standing up with no supports

How it goes together

- Each tier has a block on top of each post that drops into a socket under the tier above. No screws, no glue, no loose pins.

- The PC rests on a ledge along the bottom of each tier and slides in from the front or the back.

- Two bottom bars (blocks up) and two top bars (slots) tie the left and right sides together.

What to print

- Side tier: 2 per PC. Left and right are the same part, just turned around.

- Bottom bar: 2 (front and back).

- Top bar: 2 (front and back).

Examples

- 1 PC: 2 side tiers + 4 bars

- 2 PCs: 4 side tiers + 4 bars

- 3 PCs: 6 side tiers + 4 bars

- 4 PCs: 8 side tiers + 4 bars

Print settings

- PLA or PETG, 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers

- 4 walls, 20% infill

- No supports

- Side tiers print standing up, blocks on top, as they sit in the rack

- Bars print flat

- Keep elephant foot compensation on, so the sockets at the bottom of the tiers are not too tight

- Every part fits a 250 x 210 mm bed or larger (Prusa MK4/MK3, Bambu A1/P1/X1). On smaller beds (A1 mini, Prusa MINI) turn the parts diagonally.

Fit

- Inside width 181 mm, depth 183 mm (Tiny is 179 x 183 mm)

- 43 mm per PC: fits Tiny models up to 37 mm tall (Gen 1 to 4 such as M710q, M720q, M920q are 34.5 mm)

- Joint clearance 0.3 mm per side

Size

- Footprint 205 x 183 mm

- Height: 43 mm per PC + 12 mm (1 PC: 55 mm, 2: 98 mm, 3: 141 mm, 4: 184 mm)

Adding a PC later

Lift off the top bars, set two new tiers onto the blocks, slide the PC in and put the top bars back.

Renders show the PCs as plain boxes.
