I wanted to rebuild my SV08 and fix all of the factory defects and flaws. I did a full tear out of all original electronics and replaced them with a 350W power supply, raspberry pi, BTT Octopus Pro, and moved over to CANbus for the toolhead. The original solid state relay for the heater bed works just fine, so it gets to stay, but Sovol mounts it in an awful location and into the plastic body.
This lets you press 3mm heat inserts into the mounting holes for the board, and then secure the mounting plate to the 2020 extrusion inside the electronics bay, either side, depending on your configuration. On my printer, I must note that I did cut out all the stupid plastic mounting tabs for the original electronics, which allowed me to mount the relay where I did, but you can put it anywhere along either extrusion, which lets you organize however you want and make the cable runs nice and neat.
You will need to print with supports obviously and feel free to remix this as much as you want (just cite me so I can see how my idea evolves in the world), the goal is to help the Sovol community upgrade their printers and be on par with the Voron 2.4 the SV08 is based on.
