These 3D-printable templates help you mark and sew a diamond pattern for deep-buttoned upholstery.
The templates are designed to make it easier to mark the pattern on both the wooden panel and the fabric. Sewing the diamond pattern into the fabric before adding the buttons helps keep the pleats in place and makes the diamonds more uniform in size. But of course you do not have to sew the diamond pattern. You can also just have neat pleats.
The templates
They are useful for upholstery projects such as headboards, padded panels and other deep-buttoned furniture.
The design includes:
• A template for marking the diamond pattern on the wood and fabric.
• A tapered template for marking the sewing lines.
