Background
When my Bose MediaMate PC speakers stopped working last year, I decided to try and open them up and repair them. Unfortunately the old plastic shells were impossible to open without cracking them. I took this as an opportunity to redesign the shells, and change a few things.
Changes
120VAC to 12VAC transformer added inside the case
replace original giant power brick with IEC 60320 C7 cable
non-removable TS cable for 2nd speaker replaced with standard speaker wire terminals
added power switch

Parts List
AC Transformer (120 - 12 VAC)
M4 heat set inserts x2
M4 screws x2
Power Switch (20.2 mm diameter)
M2.5 screws
Rotary knobs x2
Speaker wire terminals x2 (dimensions shown in image)
M3 heat set inserts x4
M3 screws x4
3D printed cases
M5 heat set inserts x4
M5 screws (visible on front panel) x4
Wire and solder - to connect everything
10 mm diameter adhesive feet x8
Assembly
I recommend using a multimeter to check which are the + and - contacts for all RCA, speaker, and power connectors on the circuit board, then soldering the new wires to the underside pads for the original components without removing them. I also recommend reflowing any solder joints that look old or cracked.
The circuit boards can be hot glued into the 3d printed case slots similar to how they are mounted within the original speaker housing.
The speaker disks can be mounted using the same screws that they were attached to the original speaker housing.
The RCA connector block uses the same central screw as the original RCA connector block
Notes
There is an error in the STL for the main speaker, where the + and - volume symbols are switched incorrectly. I no longer have access to the original CAD files, so I was able to correct this in the 3mf within Prusaslicer, but not in the STL. Please use the model in the 3mf if this is important to you!
The acoustic properties of these speakers were not the greatest to begin with, having different size housings and changed hardware did not make the audio noticeably worse, but results may vary.
