Spigen's Steam Frame controller silicone grips block some of the controllers' IR tracking LEDs and they can't be freed up without extensive modifications. This replacement Battery door cover allows you to attach straps harvested from the Spigen grips to free up those LEDs. The only drawback is that you don't get to use the silicone grip part with it.

This model is intended to be used with Steam Frame ergonomics kit keys.
I have only tested this .stl on an SLA printer, however given the weaker structural nature of SLA prints, intuitively this should be plenty stable when printed from an FDM printer.
How to remove straps: bring the faux leather loop as close to the edge of the metal pivot and work it out and over. Be careful while doing this. You'll have to use more force than you probably would want but as long as you're careful they won't break.
