A compact, one-piece mount that tucks a Magicshine SEEMEE 50 Pro horizontally beneath a Specialized Power saddle.

The curved body blends the saddle bracket into the light receiver without a long extension arm. The light slides in from the left, viewed from behind the bicycle, with its button underneath for easier access.

  • One-piece bracket and light receiver

  • Enclosed 10 × 3 mm N42 magnet — no separate cover

  • Rounded rear mounting-ear corners

  • V16: printed and fitted successfully in black PLA Matte

Hardware

  • 1 × round neodymium magnet: Ø10 × 3 mm, N42

  • 2 × M5 × 12 mm screws: the length used on the tested saddle; check engagement and clearance on yours

  • A tiny amount of suitable adhesive to hold the magnet during printing

Keep the supplied orientation: receiver back on the bed, rails facing up. Do not scale or auto-orient. Open the 3MF as a project to retain its settings and pause.

Insert the magnet before the pocket closes

The included 3MF pauses before the first roof layer at Z = 4.10 mm. STL files do not contain a pause. The magnet cannot be inserted after the print is finished.

  1. Before printing, test polarity against the actual light away from the printer. The face that should point toward the light faces up in the supplied print orientation.

  2. At the pause, wait for the nozzle to park. Keep the part attached and the bed at its normal temperature.

  3. Apply a tiny amount of suitable adhesive to the pocket floor and fully seat one magnet. It must lie flat below the rim, with no protruding adhesive. Follow the adhesive's handling and curing instructions.

  4. Let the adhesive take its initial hold so the magnet cannot jump toward the nozzle, then resume to seal the pocket.

For other printers or changed settings, inspect the slice and pause before the first layer covering the pocket. Do not copy a layer number blindly. Full instructions are included in English and Traditional Chinese.

Fit and installation

Tested with one Specialized Power saddle with the matching 60 mm lateral two-bolt interface and a SEEMEE 50 Pro. Other Power/SWAT variants, lights and saddlebag combinations have not been verified.

With the light removed, bolt the bracket to the saddle with the raised bridge toward the saddle. Then slide the light in from the left until it seats. Check button access, removal clearance and rearward visibility.

The successful print used PLA supports and interface material. Long-term road and heat testing have not been reported; inspect the mount periodically and avoid leaving the PLA part in a hot vehicle.

Which file should I use?

  • V16_magnet_print.stl: the complete one-piece mount, in millimetres and the intended print orientation.

  • V16_PLA_Matte_Black_X2D_010_pause.3mf: the X2D project with the magnet pause.

  • V16_Editable.blend: optional native Blender project with editable geometry and the complete rebuild sources embedded. No external files are needed to open it.

  • V16_Magnet_Adjustment.scad: optional, self-contained OpenSCAD file for magnet-pocket parameters and print/design orientation.

  • PRINTING_EN.txt / PRINTING_ZH_TW.txt: full printing and magnet-insertion instructions.

  • SOURCE_GUIDE.txt / LICENSE_AND_CREDITS.txt: editing instructions, original-author credit and the full GPL-2.0 license.

Only the STL or 3MF is needed for printing. The clean package contains eight attachments; the editing files are grouped under Edit_Source. Both source documents work independently of the folder layout. The Blender Text Editor includes an optional source-export tool to restore the full rebuild tree; see SOURCE_GUIDE.txt for instructions. This is not a fully parametric solid CAD model; no STEP file is included.

Remix credit and license

The saddle interface is derived from Specialized SWAT Varia radar/Gopro mount by Peter_B. This remix adds the SEEMEE receiver, continuous curved body, rounded mounting ears and embedded magnet pocket.

GPL-2.0. The full license, attribution and editable sources are included. This is an independent community design, not an official Specialized or Magicshine accessory or an endorsement by the original author.
