Key Features
Perfect Circular Geometry (40,000+ Triangles): Exported with an ultra-high mesh resolution (40,906 triangles) to deliver a completely fluid, perfectly round outer contour without any faceted or blocky edges. This guarantees quiet, stutter-free rolling on the AMS drive rollers.
Optimized for 0.4 mm Nozzles: Wall thicknesses (0.8mm) are mathematically aligned to two continuous perimeter lines, eliminating empty travel moves and creating a solid, monolithic structure.
Dual Support Lip: Features a 0.8mm bottom retention lip and a 2.7mm inner shelf to lock firmly onto the spool rim, preventing the adapter from slipping during high-speed rewinds.
Light and Moisture-Tight Seal: Printed with 100% surface density (5 solid top and bottom layers) to eliminate light leaks and micro-gaps.
Smoother & Quieter Operation: Standardizes the outer spool diameter to Ø201.1 mm for optimal grip with AMS feeder rollers.
Important Printing & Material Guidelines
Material Comparison (PETG vs. ABS/ASA):
PETG (~5.7 g): Excellent for daily use — flexible, impact-resistant, and easy to print.
ABS / ASA (~4.7 g): Approximately 17% lighter with higher thermal resistance. Ideal for high-temperature environments or spool drying enclosures.
PLA is NOT Recommended: PLA lacks necessary long-term elasticity and is prone to brittleness under continuous spool pressure. We strongly recommend printing in PETG, ABS, or ASA.
Filament Drying is Essential: To achieve flawlessly smooth outer walls without micro-voids or stringing, PETG, ABS, and ASA filaments must be thoroughly dried before printing! Moisture trapped in the filament creates micro-bubbles that degrade surface finish and roller grip.
