Hello everyone!
This is a modified Bionicle Metru style head piece with Lego compatible stud connections for eyes. I had a ton of fun making my Bionicle Compatible Head with Stud Connections, so I thought it would be fun to modify a Metru Head piece in the same way. First I made a CAD model of the stock Metru Style Head Piece, then I set to work adding in the stud connections. So, here are the results of those experiments!
Part Information
The front "eyes" are the equivalent of one plate thick, and the holes in the middle of the studs are sized for Lego bar pieces. Similarly, the middle rib of the back of the head is the equivalent of one plate thick, has studs on both sides, and the holes in the middle of those studs are sized for Lego bar pieces. I didn't want the back of the head to be a solid chunk of nothing, so I made the holes for the eyes going all the way through to the back of the head, and above those holes I have some more stud connections. My idea was that if you stuck translucent rod pieces into the eyes and then had clear 2X1 plates on the sides of the head, you might get a bit of the light piping effect of the original eye pieces. It doesn't work as well as I hoped it would, but I still liked having the extra connection points on the head to play around with.
Printing Information
Due to the size and level of detail, I recommend printing this part at a more fine resolution than you might normally print at. I toleranced all of the connection fittings around printing this part at 0.12mm layer height, but I did also test it at a 0.2mm layer height, and the connections were still serviceable. This part will require support material, and I recommend the print orientation below for the best bed adhesion and surface results. Tree style supports are recommended.

Sendoff
This model is not an exact copy of a Bionicle Metru Head, but hopefully it is a close enough imitation for those who are interested. I had tons of fun working on this project, and I hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I have!
