When you have the best M-LOK accessory but not the matching screw/nut combination.... These printable M-LOK nuts will save the day!
Available in several different thread sizes, as well as with different methods for creating the thread (Using a thread-tap vs. using the screw as a tap).
What you get:
- A M-LOK nut specific to your type of screw.
- A cheap fastening alternative when you have an accessory that doesn't have to withstand larger mechanical forces.
Recommendations for printing:
- Print the nut in either ASA or PC with 100% concentric infill.
What you need:
- If you print the versions modeled for the use of a thread-tap, you will need the specific tap.
Note: These printable nuts can't withstand the specified (from Magpul) minimum torque value of 15in/lbs. Thereby, these nuts should only be used for accessories that doesn't have to withstand larger mechanical forces.
Tighten until snug and just a little bit more! In case you strip the threads, just print another one! :)
