short wires: 10 ish m of ~23AWG or 0.25mm^2
ribbon cable: 10m x 20 x 1.27mm pitch

Notes:
Adjust the tolerance untill you get a good fit between the spool body and the plate. For me this was about 6%.
Use superglue or similar to glue both parts together.
