Fluted Container with Lid – Knock Box
This is a 3D-printable container with an inset lid, originally designed as an espresso knock box. It has no knock bar. Instead, the rim is thick and rounded so you can knock the portafilter straight on it, and the heavy 9 mm floor keeps the container stable.
It also works as a solid container for coffee beans, cotton pads, desk supplies and more.
When using it as a knock box, PETG is recommended because spent pucks are hot (around 50–60 °C) and wet, and the rim takes repeated impacts. I personally printed the body in white PETG. (PLA is not recommended for the knock box version, because it can soften and deform with heat. For general storage, PLA is perfectly fine.)

Tip 1:
For a nice matte, stone-like look on the smooth bottom band, add fuzzy skin only to that part.
Tip 2:
For a smooth, clean top surface on the lid, enable ironing for top surfaces (Quality > Ironing > Top surfaces).
