Notes:
You should be able to print this on a medium-sized 3D printer (25x20x20 cm volume).
This model is modelled for 21 cm long head (the longest distance from back of the head to the forehead). If your head is smaller, scale all three pieces by the same factor to get the proper size for your head. (E.g. if your head is 19 cm long, use 19/21 = 90,5% scaling factor for all three pieces.)
Orient both horn parts almost vertically, until the bottom flat is horizontal. Use a small amount of support (10% or less) for the headpiece an a larger amount (15-20% + interface ) for the horns to prevent them from moving too much while printing. Use cooling when printing horn parts.
Post-Printing
- Clean up prints and glue the two horn parts to the headpiece.
- Add a rubber band to the holes in the back.
- Put the whole thing on the head so the horn looks upwards from your forehead and the back part with the rubber band is under the little bump on the back of your head - this makes it stable.
- Try not to poke somebody's eye out. You might put a foam ball on the point when in situations involving a lot of people. You can take it off for good looks in photos and the replace it for dancing etc.
