Hello,
I have measured and then constructed the original part for a colleague. It replaces the defective original part of the SARO EM26 / EM40 ice cube machine, which had broken due to material fatigue.
My colleague has installed it and it works wonderfully.
If you wish, you can reinforce the original part that is not yet broken with the additional angle (longer screws are needed).
The angle is designed to fit on the spare part as well, but again longer screws are needed.
I would recommend gluing the angle to the part for both variants.
I think it should once again be more natural to repair defective appliances than to throw them away.
