This is a cable management system I've created for myself to organize the mess below my desk. It consists of a mounting plate with countersink for screws and a locking-holding thingy (I have no idea how to call this part 😅).
The main idea behind this mount is to be able to easily access the wires inside, but still keep them secure, while keeping the look nice and tidy.
Printing
I just used standard settings for PrusaSlicer at 0.2 mm layer height and 15% infill.
Tips
- Be careful with the locking tab as it is quite easy to break if you put too much force due to the way it is printed.
- The screw holes are in the same positions in both 35 mm and 50 mm versions, so you can easily swap them.
- The version size relates to the inner width for wires, not the whole plate.
- You are more than welcome to use double-sided tape instead of screws.
