This is the newest and smoothest of my Rubik's cubes. This cube has a better assembly and a more compact design.

This newer model has a smoother design to it and is a replicated speed cube. The cube is slightly more difficult than the original design (Rubik's Cube by Anton Granata) to print and build. This design also requires a very small amount of glue. I created an assembly step by step process. I recommend printing the cube slightly larger if using the STL files.
Slicing
Make sure when you slice the model to slice the center piece in the picture fashion. ( the blue line being the bottom) (This is very important)
Assembly
Step 1
Prepare some glue. A precise nozzle for the glue is recommended and or a very small amount of hot glue should do the trick. Slide the center block onto a threaded side of the center piece. Take some glue and dab it onto the threads of the center block and of the screw. Use fore to screw the screw into place and let it dry.

Step 2
Once the glue is dry, slide the center block back into place and make sure it can rotate with ease. Start assembling the cube layer by layer.

Step 3
Place the top layer into place.

Gently place the center block in place. Dab some glue on the threads, once placed correctly, and screw the center screw in ( Just like step 1).

Step 4
Once dry, make sure the cube rotates freely. If the cube does not rotate well, use a lubricant (WD 40). If the cube runs well push the center lids in. (They slide in with ease and clip to the side.

The cube is complete. Use stickers or paint to finish off the cube.
