Using this model you can mount a generic webcam to an IKEA OMAR shelf for e.g. monitoring your 3D print jobs.
The webcam needs to have a standard tripod mount screw hole (M6) and the hole should be no further than ~20mm away from the edge of the webcam's housing (or else parts of the model's arm will interfere). This is easy to fix in Fusion 360 if needed.
Items needed:
- 2x M3 screws and nuts, around 8-12mm long screws should be fine (longer are easier to install but will stick out further from the model)
- 1x countersunk M6 screw for the webcam. Length will depend on webcam but I used a M6x8 screw.
Tip: you can weave the webcam's USB cable along the holes in the arm.
Please ignore the duct tape in the pictures, this is the fault of my super high quality LED strip mounting solution / fire hazard 😜
