Tool conceived with a carpenter friend. Intended for use where a distance has to be measured from inside an opening, e.g from inside a door opening. It has been designed specifically to allow marking the corners too.
It can of course also be used from the outside in.
Special care has been taken to ensure that the inside guide edge is always parallel with the outside marking edge
Print instructions
Sliced with the 0.2 mm quality Prusa PLA profile in PrusaSlicer, and printed using the spool of PLA bundled with my MK3S kit on the assembled printer.
4 outside perimeters were set for added strength in the workshop.
The model has no overhangs flatter than 45 degrees, so it can and should be printed without support.
This is a small-tolerance model for precise printers.
