This is a safety latch to secure a cabinet or drawer.
Note: A safety latch is only a deterrent. Young children need to be watched at all times. Use of these latches is at your own risk. They work for me, but the files and instructions are supplied without any warranties or guaranties as to usability or risk.
Materials to complete:
Six 1/2 inch Flat Head #6 wood screws or equivalent.
- Two to attach the bottom cover to the clip body.
- Four to install the latch and striker.
Spring from a retractable pen.

A optional shim is included, that can be scaled as needed, if the installation requires. The only part requiring support is the clip.
Support should be set to the build plate only.
Post-Printing
- There is a small support structure on the bottom of the slide, which covers a hole for the spring, that needs to be removed.
- The clip's slide requires a touch with sandpaper to smooth the layer lines. The slide should move smoothly in the channel. I found that very little sanding is required, just enough to take out the roughness.
