It contains springs within the enclosure so your life total does not move with bumps and shakes.

Assembly Instructions:
The pair of 16mm M3 screws meet in the middle of the enclosure to form a two piece axle. A 30mm (or 32mm) screw would be preferred for a single axle.
For proper operation, the washers should separate each component of the assembly.
The counter wheel is sized for an M3 screw. If the hole is too small, drill it out with a 1/8" drill bit.
