***Food safety warning! If you decide to print and use this (more than one time), please wrap it in cling wrap or other food safe plastic food wrap. Due to the nature of 3D printing, the small spaces between layers can be a breeding ground for bacteria if not properly mitigated. Another popular option is to coat prints in food-safe resin.
When I make burgers for my friends and family I like them to all be the same size and shape for portion control. I designed this model to use approximately ¼ lb of 80/20 ground beef. It has worked super well for me, so I hope you enjoy! Wrap in plastic wrap or coat in food-safe resin if using more than once (which you totally should!).
Just take a hand full of ground beef and press into the mold so it is flush with the top. I find it easiest to put some plastic food wrap on a cutting board so the beef doesn't stick to the work surface.
