The problem: At night, an overhead porch light just outside the camera's field of view was washing out the image, making the Ring Stickup Cam nearly useless after dark — unless switched to night vision only mode.
The solution: A 3D-printed baseball cap-style shade that mounts directly over the camera lens, blocking the offending light source and restoring a clear, full-color image when it matters most.
