I love the original Switch controller " Dock" it feels right and works well, but I am not able to use my silicon sleeves on my joycons while they are mounted on the original grip.
I dont want to take of the sleeves every time I attach them to the original grip
The Grip on the Back is detachable and hold in position by a circular Lock.
There are two elevated pods on the detachable grip, you can add two chair felt pads to support the joycons against the applied pressure from your Thumbs.
Fix the " lockdisk" with a common screw, washer and an O ring to apply constant and stable pressure on the locking mechanism.
IMPORTANT:
After Printing you have to cut or file down the sides of the grip mount to make it fit the base of the Comfycon, I made it a bit wider on purpose because not every printer prints the same,but this part has to be a tight fit for a good experience. Use a file and retry more often until you reach the perfect fit.
