Very happy with how it turned out! Went through a few versions and landed here. Works better than I expected and is fully functional. Practical? Maybe!? Let me know!!
Used 3 rubber bands to assemble and that's it! The rubber bands not only hold the assembly together, but they also act as the spring that retracts the Sharpie back.
Assembly instructions:
- Simply uncap your standard fine-point sharpie and insert into the rod tracks
- Thread rubber band through sharpie rod holder loop
- Pass rubber band ends through cap using the large gap spacing between holes
- Repeat steps 1-3 for your other two sharpies
- Insert this entire assembly into the main body
- Wrap all ends of rubber band around main body hooks and BOOM! SHARPIE ULTRA-CONVENIENT SELECTOR!
