Trex Rail Support Bracket (RSB) and Universal Rail Gasket
I’ve have had success printing with Sainsmart TPU. Stiff but not too pliable.
I don’t suggest using PLA as it won’t weather well. If you try with PETG or another material let me know how it works.
RSB can also be used for stairs when you “connect” them.
Gasket can be attached with caulk. Caulk and then hold with masking tape until caulk dries.
