I love the OpenOcular model, but I wanted a y-axis mount that also helped clamp the phone in place. I also removed the flat supports from the clamps to remove the light gap between the phone and the mount.
I also reduced the logo depth to save on plastic a bit
To build one, you must print one of everything, except for the thumbnut for the smartphone clamp. You will need three of those.
UPDATE 2021-01-05:
I have added extended versions of both the screw clamp and the housing to accommodate larger devices. Depending on your printer, these may need to be printed diagonally to fit on your print bed.
