This is a bicycle repair stand that I made to work on my bikes when I didn't want to shell out hundreds of dollars for the “real deal". It utilizes off the shelf bolts/nuts as well as 1" square tubing. The neck ratchets to get just the right angle and can be locked in by tightening the rear knob. I've tested this stand with bikes up to 50LB and it hasn't broken a sweat.

The feet and grip pads are printed in TPU for stability and to prevent damage to the bike.

Hardware Needed:

  • 1x 1in x 48in Square Steel Tube (This is the “spine”)
  • 2x 1in x 36in Square Aluminum or Steel Tube (the legs)
  • 1x 1/4in x 4in Bolt (partial threading)
  • 1x 1/4in x 4.5in Carriage Bolt (full thread)
  • 2x 1/4in Nut (Optionally locknuts)
  • 1x 3/8in x 7.5in Bolt (partial threading)
  • 1x 3/8in Nut (Optionally a locknut)
  • 6x M3x10mm Screws
  • 6x M3 Locknuts
  • 1x M5x15-20mm (secures the crank arm knob)

Having trouble getting something to fit? Try using a heat gun or torch to warm the metal part before pushing it in. Parts should be able to withstand a bit of mallet bumping to get them seated as well!

Recommend 4 walls (0.4mm) and 30% infill. I printed at 0.2mm layer height.
