If you added a gear to the body you would create a differential. (I only realised that when my dad told me)
Parts:
- body
- bottom gear
- top gear
- cage x3
- inner shaft
- outer shaft
- pin x3
- side gear x3
The way I designed the parts to be connected is by softening the plastic with a soldering iron (120°C for PLA) and squishing it together. Other methods should work as well.
Assembly:
- attach gears to their respective shafts (top with outer and bottom with inner)
- attach pins to the body
- put side gears on pins
- put bottom gear with inner shaft on one side
- put top gear with outer shaft on inner shaft
- connect cage to its pins
